Chemical Love ©Laforge/Randall
So come gather round me now, I’ll explain how it all came about
When I was small, a little girl singing out loud
In a simple loving home, where nothing much went on
Discovered a treasure, speaking in another tongue
It worked like a charm
I couldn’t get enough, of
Chemical love
Chemical love
Chemical love
And the songs became my friends, a soundtrack for my mind
Closed my eyes, drawing lines into the sound
And every single dose, carried me farther on
It worked like a charm
I couldn’t get enough
Of radical, magical, mystical
Chemical love
Chemical love
Chemical love
We are tied down to the ground with promises lost and found
Another time, now I’m trying to leave a trace
Put me in the light as the stars begin to rise, rise, rise
I’ll never have enough
Of
Chemical love
Chemical love
Chemical love

Lullaby ©Laforge/Randall
I hear the voices calling - the voices in my head
I’m here to tell a story, one you may have read
Words come like a whisper riding on the wind
Lullaby, It’s hello and then good-bye
Lullaby
While we’re busy sleeping, the darkness in your eyes
Like stars that hold the secrets hidden by the sky
Dreams come to reveal all the tears you cried
Lullaby, It’s hello and then good-bye
Lullaby, It’s hello and good-bye
I’ll take you to the water, slide into the deep
The love you thought might save you has let you go adrift
I see your questions ‘cause your life’s an open book
I won’t give up the details; I’m a fish without a hook
Go back to where I came from without a second look
Lullaby, It’s hello and then good-bye
Lullaby, It’s hello and good-bye
Lullaby, It’s hello and good-bye
Lullaby, It’s hello and good-bye

Jailor Laforge/Randall
I don’t know, which way to go
Don’t yet know, the better way
I just know that life is getting small
The feathers in my wings instead of flying make me fall
Life’s my jailor, give me a stay
Doesn’t mean much, just one more day
I love the water, I watch the waves
Tell the wind, “you’re rather like myself”
“Run to the water but afraid of getting wet,
Running backwards, dancing with regret”
Life’s my jailor, give me a stay
Doesn’t mean much, just one more day
Disappointment, shards of glass
You breath them in, set them on a path
Feeling nothing as they travel to your heart
Split it open, tear your soul apart
Life’s my jailor, give me a stay
Doesn’t mean much, just one more day
Life’s my jailor, give me a stay
Doesn’t mean much, just one more day
